Elucidating the role of conserved calcium signaling genes in brain development
In the Aponte Santiago Lab, we investigate the mechanisms of calcium-dependent gene expression during brain development. Currently recruiting trainees who want to obtain hands-on experience in zebrafish husbandry, pharmacological perturbations, CRISPR gene editing, RNA quantification, imaging, and single-cell analysis.
